Something in the water/Brainstorm

This terms theme is Something in the water. This term I would like to learn what is in the water and what types of creatures are in the water.One of the animals I would like to learn about is the seahorse or the jelly fishes. Also I would like to learn about animals.Today on the first day of term 3, room 10 were brain storming things that were in the water. The photo under this sentence is the words that we came up with and the top is the picture of our focus for this term.

                                   The story of how there was a Mystical Forest

A long long time ago there was a Mystical Forest, But before it became a Mystical Forest it was an endangered Forest. Tigers, precious animals and especially endangered animals were getting sucked into a black hole in the dark part of the Forest. There were two sides, the dark forest and the forever Forest.The dark forest was where there was no light no grass or plants , just darkness and dead plants. The forever Forest is where there were a lot of animals living in peace and harmony.As I said before Tigers, precious animals and well you know the rest. Then one day there came a little girl. Her name was Ariel she loved animals and the animals loved her. She was very kind to the animals. When Ariel found out about the animals getting sucked into a black hole in the dark forest she felt concerned, But also mysterious she asked herself,
 

“ Why would the animals go to the dark forest if they hate the dark forest?,” she said.

“I guess this a mystery to solve,” Ariel said.

She asked her mum and dad that she was going but all they said was

“ Okay then look after yourself”.

Ariel’s parents were too busy to listen to Ariel.

“Okay then, well bye” Ariel said. It was a long way to the Forest none of the trains or planes went to the forest because no one bothered to go there, So she had to walk there. It took three whole days but she never gave up.When she got there she knew what was the problem. The magical necklace was missing. She already knew who took it,It was the great fiery dragon he always takes things that are sparkly. She was so tired but she kept going. When she got there the dragon was nowhere to be seen so she quickly took the necklace and ran back. When she got there she was just in time. When she put the necklace back everything turned into the forever forest then Ariel received a gift from the animals and that gift was to become the queen of the forest and she did, And that was how there became a Mystical Forest!

The Cockroach and Toffy challenge.

On Monday morning room 10 did the cockroach and Toffy challenge, but before we did the cockroach and Toffy challenge she told us to talk to your neighbour and talk about what different food places eat
After a while we played the cockroach and Toffy challenge it is when you partner up of two and one of them will be blindfolded. The other person will be deciding if they want to put a cockroach in their mouth or a Toffy in their mouth. I was partnered up with Angelica. She wanted to be the one that was blindfolded. When I blindfolded Angelica she told me to give her the Toffy lollie but instead I gave her the dry cockroach. When she ate it her face looked like she ate something sour, she told me it was so disgusting but when I had a turn of putting on the blindfold I thought she would give me a dry cockroach but she was nice and gave me a toffy. Guess what we didn’t actually dry cockroaches it was just dry dates.
