This is what my maths group had to do. We had to do graphs to show how many people had these snacks and this is my maths groups graph. It is called a pie graph.

Once upon a time there was two girls and one day they got a letter from the prime minister and it said that they were chosen to plan a fabulous dinner by tomorrow and dinner is served by 6pm. They were so excited but the problem was wear are they going to get the money so they just used the money that they had and ended up having enough money to by 1 chocolate fountain. So they asked their parents and they told them about the fabulous dinner and their money. And Guess  what they said they said of course you can use our money.So they bought the decorations and the feast and by the time the prime minister came they were ready. He tasted the food and it was delicious he also loved the decorations and he decided to make jane and Isla his oficial dinner planners. The girls were so honored and they said yes. The prime minister also gave the girls and there parent 1 grand each as there reward and they lived happily ever after.

My Recount

In the holidays I got the biggest surprise of my life because  my mum and my auntie told me that I would be coming to america to see my auntie in person and to come spend time with her. But  I was so surprised so I packed straight away. My mum was surprised too, we were both surprised but also scared. We were going there by plane it was a 16 hour flight once I got on the plane i was so scared after the 16 hour flight I was so happy to get of the plane .It was my 2nd time going to a country I was super surprised but when I got there I was scared and wanted to go home but luckily the days flew by so fast and I was so happy once I got home. It was the first time I was so so surprised and so scare.

Problem: Stranded on an island with nothing but a rope, a chilly bin and two cans of spaghetti.

Resolution: they build a boat with the chilly bin and the rope.

Once upon a time there were two girls their names were Alexis and Isla.

One day Alexis and Isla were sleeping near the water then suddenly the tide got bigger and Alexis and Isla got washed away to a stranded Island. After a while Alexis and Isla realised that they were on the Stranded Island. So they started to dig and they found 2 cans of spaghetti a piece of rope and a chilly bin. Suddenly Isla had an idea and said ‘’ let’s build a boat, the chilly bin will be the part that we sit in, we will break the handles on the chilly bin and attach it to the spaghetti cans to make paddles’’. So they did that after 2 or 4 days they returned back to the beach.

Can you find the mistakes?

In December last year I went on a trip to Western Australia.
It was the first time I had been there since I was two years old. While I was there I had many adventures and saw a lot of wildlife. I saw lizards, a range of birds, frogs, kangaroo, snakes, fish, quokka and stingray.

One of the highlights of my trip was when I climbed 61 metres up a tree to a fire lookout.There was an amazing view from the top. I could see right over the treetops and into the distance treetop lookouts. Like this one was once used to keep an eye out for bushfires.

It was 44 degrees celsius on the day I left Perth and there was a big bushfire which had started a couple of hours down the road. As a result there were thunderstorms rumbling around the city in the plane. We flew near a thunderstorm which was absolutely amazing.

After sitting on the plane for six and a half hours the plane landed in Auckland. We were told it was 21 degrees. This was 23 degrees colder than in Perth. I was cold.
